TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP)—Demetrius Jemison grabbed a key rebound and Senario Hillman’s steal in the final seconds helped Alabama preserve an 87-85 double-overtime win over Mississippi State on Saturday.

The Crimson Tide (14-12, 4-8 Southeastern Conference) snapped a four-game losing streak with the dramatic victory.

The Bulldogs (17-10, 7-5) had chances at the end when Barry Stewart won a scramble for an offensive rebound and called timeout with 11 seconds left. Stewart then missed a fadeaway jumper and Jemison collected the rebound.

He was fouled and made 1-of-2 free throws with 3.2 seconds to play. Hillman stole the ball away from Phil Turner to keep Mississippi State from getting off a desperation attempt.

Alonzo Gee scored the Tide’s first 10 points of the second OT and finished with 28.
