Wisconsin uses big second half to beat Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP)—Trevon Hughes had 21 points and Wisconsin pulled away in the second half to beat Indiana 68-51 on Thursday night.

Joe Krabbenhoft finished with 18 points and Marcus Landry scored nine for the Badgers (17-9, 8-6 Big Ten), who won their fifth straight conference game after losing the previous six.

Verdell Jones had 16 points and Devan Dumes scored 12 in his first game back from a two-game suspension for the Hoosiers (6-19, 1-12). It was Indiana’s fourth straight loss after beating Iowa for its only conference victory.
