Bradley beats Missouri State 71-60
PEORIA, Ill. (AP)—Theron Wilson and Sam Maniscalco scored 17 points apiece to lead Bradley to a 71-60 victory over Missouri State on Tuesday night.
Chris Roberts came off the bench and chipped in 12 points for the Braves (15-12, 9-7 Missouri Valley). Roberts and Maniscalco were both 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
The Braves led 39-33 at the half, in a game that featured three lead changes.
Missouri State (10-17, 3-13) got within three points in the second half, but a 3-pointer by Wilson at 7:08 gave Bradley a 55-49 advantage and the Bears did not get any closer.
Kyle Weems had 15 points and Cardell McFarland added 11 points for Missouri State. Will Creekmore had a game-high eight rebounds.
Missouri State outscored Bradley from the three throw line, shooting 9-of-10, or 90 percent, versus Bradley’s 18-of-24, or 75 percent.
