UNLV rolls past Colorado St, 89-70

LAS VEGAS (AP)—Tre’Von Willis scored 21 points to lead UNLV past Colorado State 89-70 Saturday night.

Willis, who had 14 first-half points, went 8-of-12 from the field. He also had six assists and five rebounds.

Rene Rougeau added 14 points and six rebounds for the Rebels (19-6, 7-4). Oscar Bellfield had 13 points and six assists, while Joe Darger also had 13 points.

UNLV shot 33-of-61 (54 percent) from the field.

Marcus Walker led Colorado State (8-17, 3-8) with 18 points.

The Rebels never trailed and shot 65 percent in the first half. UNLV led 51-34 at halftime after shooting 8-of-11 from 3-point range. The Rebels finished 11-of-22 (50 percent) from 3-point range.
