Northern Arizona beats Montana State 83-64
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP)—Cameron Jones scored 22 points and Shayar Lee added 17 as Northern Arizona beat Montana State 83-64 Thursday night.
Shane Johannsen and Zarko Comagic each finished with 14 points for the Lumberjacks (7-16, 4-8 Big Sky).
Montana State (11-11, 5-6) was paced by Danny Piepoli’s 22 points. He was the only player to reach double figures for the Bobcats.
Northern Arizona led 41-34 at halftime and stretched the lead to 20 with 11:32 to play.
Jermaine Bishop pulled down 10 rebounds for the Lumberjacks, who made 61 percent of their field goals (17-of-28) in the first half and 72 percent (18-of-25) in the second half.
