Yale beats Harvard 87-66
BOSTON (AP)—Travis Pinick and Ross Morin led a balanced Yale attack with 15 points apiece as the Bulldogs defeated Harvard 87-66 on Friday night.
Porter Braswell added 13 points for Yale (8-11, 3-2 Ivy League), and Alex Zampier had 12 as the Bulldogs won for the sixth time in their last eight games.
Yale took the lead for good with a 13-0 first-half run that turned a tie game into a 38-25 edge.
Harvard (9-10, 1-4) trailed only 45-40 at halftime and inched within three points, 47-44, with 17:30 left in the game. They could get no closer.
Over the next 7:54, the Bulldogs went on a 21-8 run and led by double digits the rest of the way.
Harvard?s Jeremy Lin led all scorers with 23 points, and Andrew Pusar added 11.
Yale shot 55 percent from the floor, while Harvard managed only 47 in its fourth straight loss, all at home.
