Presbyterian tops Coastal Carolina 65-62
CLINTON, S.C. (AP)—Bryan Bostic scored 17 points and Presbyterian defeated Coastal Carolina 65-62 on Wednesday night.
Bostic scored 14 of his points in a first half in which the Chanticleers shot just 34.8 percent (8 of 23) and committed nine turnovers.
The Blue Hose (10-12, 7-4 Big South Conference) led 30-20 at intermission.
Presbyterian scored the first seven points of the second half to lead 37-20 on a Chase Holmes three-point play with 15:45 left. Presbyterian led by 17 once more as Holmes hit a 3-pointer wiht 8:39 to go for a 49-32 advantage.
Mario Sisinni led Coastal Carolina (9-14, 3-8) with 34 points, including 26 in the second half. Sisinni’s 34 points was 10th-best in a single game for the Chanticleers.
Sisinni had 14 rebounds, which gave him 700 all-time, becoming the 19th player in Big South history to reach that mark.
