Akron dominates cold-shooting E. Michigan, 78-41

YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP)—Nate Linhart and Darryl Roberts scored 13 points each for Akron, which scored as many points in the first half as Eastern Michigan did in the game as the Zips drubbed the Eagles 78-41 Tuesday night.

Akron led 41-18 at halftime and shot 46 percent (27-of-59) for the game to 33 percent (16-of-49) for Eastern Michigan.

Chris McKnight scored 12 points and Brett McKnight added 11 for the Zips (14-8, 5-3 Mid-American). Linhart grabbed seven rebounds.

Brandon Bowdry led the Eagles (3-19, 1-7) with 12 points, while Justin Dobbins made 10 rebounds and five points.
