Lewis has 23 points as Cornell beats Brown, 90-58
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP)—Dale Lewis scored 23 points in 22 minutes and added four rebounds and five assists to lead Cornell to a 90-58 win over Brown Friday night.
Cornell extended its Ivy League winning streak to 18 games and its winning streak at Newman Arena to a school-record 16 games, improving to 13-7 overall and 3-0 in the league.
Lewis was 9-for-11 overall and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. He was joined in double figures by Ryan Wittman, with 13 points, and Chris Wroblewski, with 11.
Peter Sullivan had 15 points and four rebounds to lead the Bears (6-11, 0-3), who shot 42 percent overall. Matt Mullery added 14 points and six rebounds.
The Big Red shot 54 percent from the floor and hit 11 of 22 shots from 3-point range.
