Nicholls State beats Central Arkansas 63-42

THIBODAUX, La. (AP)—Anatoly Bose scored 17 points to lead Nicholls State to a 63-42 win over Central Arkansas on Wednesday night.

Nicholls State moves to 9-8 on the season, and 2-2 within the Southland Conference. Justin Payne chipped in with 13 points for the Colonels, while Ryan Bathie scored 11.

Bose scored eight points in the first four minutes of the game, and Nicholls State jumped out to a quick 15-5 lead. The Colonels never looked back, and led 30-13 at halftime.

The Bears (8-9, 1-3) were led by Chris Brown, who scored 12 points on 5 of 6 shooting. King Cannon contributed seven points.

Central Arkansas committed 23 turnovers as a team. The Bears also shot 20 percent from 3-point range (2-for-10), and were outrebounded 22-17.
