Indiana St. beats Illinois St. 75-70, OT
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP)—Jordan Printy didn’t miss a shot Saturday night, scoring 15 points and leading six Indiana State players in double figures in a 75-70 overtime victory over Illinois State.
Printy hit all four of his field goal attempts, three of them 3-pointers, and he made all four of his free throws in the final 40 seconds of overtime to clinch the victory for the Sycamores (4-12, 2-3 Missouri Valley).
The loss was the second in a row for the Redbirds (14-2, 3-2), whose 14 straight wins before a loss to Bradley on Tuesday marked the best season start in school history.
Richard added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Indiana State, while Harry Marshall finished with 12 points, Aaron Carter and Rashad Reed had 11 points apiece and Jay Tunnell chipped in 10.
Oguchi led Illinois State with 22 points, while Brandon Sampay added 13.
