College of Charleston beats Ga Southern 100-87
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP)—Andrew Goudelock scored 18 points to lead six College of Charleston players in doubles figures in the Cougars’ 100-87 victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday.
The Cougars (11-3, 3-1 Southern Conference) matched their season-high for points, while scoring only two points in the final 4:11 with their starters on the bench. Charleston beat UNC Wilmington 100-80 on Dec. 19.
Charleston took a 52-41 advantage into halftime and led Georgia Southern (4-8, 2-2) by as many as 26 points in the second half.
Tony White Jr. and Donavan Monroe scored 16 points apiece for the Cougars. Antwaine Wiggins and Dustin Scott added 13 each, and Jermaine Johnson had 12 points and nine rebounds.
The Cougars were 11-for-22 from 3-point range.
Antonio Hanson led the Eagles with 25 points. Ben Drayton III had 13 and Julian Allen and Tyler Troupe had 12 apiece.
