Quinnipiac beats Dartmouth 76-74
HANOVER, N.H. (AP)—James Feldeine scored a career-high 29 points and got a key steal in the final minute to lead Quinnipiac to a 76-74 victory over Dartmouth on Wednesday night.
The Bobcats (6-3) scored seven unanswered points in the final minute after Dartmouth (2-6) had rallied from an 11-point deficit.
Quinnipiac trailed 74-69 when Justin Rutty scored, Feldeine got a steal and James Johnson hit two free throws. Rutty got a layup to put the Bobcats ahead. He was shaken up and fouled going for a rebound, and substitute Steve Robinson made a free throw for the winning margin. Rutty had 17 points for Quinnipiac and Johnson had 12.
Dartmouth’s Alex Barnett scored 24 points, becoming the 25th Big Green player to score 1,000.
It was the third straight win for the Bobcats, who led 39-33 at the half.
