Final flurry lifts Arkansas-Little Rock
TULSA, Okla. (AP)—Wayne Burton scored the go-ahead basket inside with 59 seconds left as Arkansas-Little Rock shut out Oral Roberts over the final 4 minutes to come away with a 69-66 win Monday night.
Steven Moore scored 19 to lead the Trojans (6-1), who finished the game on a 7-0 run. Matt Mouzy and Shane Edwards added 13 points apiece.
Marcus Lewis scored 23 points on 11-for-16 shooting and Andre Hardy had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead Oral Roberts (2-6), which will face top-ranked North Carolina on Saturday.
Robert Jarvis, who had been averaging 20 points for the Golden Eagles, was held to only six points and missed two potential tying shots in the last 26 seconds, including a 3-pointer with 4 seconds left.
