Presbyterian beats High Point
HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP)—Al’Lonzo Coleman scored a game-high 18 points to lead Presbyterian to a 70-53 win against High Point on Saturday night.
Coleman led three other players in double figures for the Blue Hose (4-4, 2-0 Big South Conference), who hit 10 of 20 shots from beyond the arc en route to victory. Bryan Bostic scored 14 points, Josh Johnson added 13 and Pierre Miller chipped in with 11. Coleman also grabbed 14 rebounds.
Earnest Bridges, Eugene Harris and Melvin Crowder each scored eight points to lead the Panthers (3-5, 0-2). David Campbell tallied 13 rebounds for High Point.
The panthers lost despite holding a 33-31 edge in the rebounding department.
