The Citadel beats Grambling State 55-41

CANCUN, Mexico (AP)—Cameron Wells scored 10 points and had 14 rebounds as The Citadel beat Grambling State 55-41 on Sunday.

The Citadel (4-3) also picked up 15 points from Zach Urbanus, all coming on 3-pointers in the Cancun Challenge.

The Bulldogs outrebounded Grambling State 27-20.

Andrew Prestley and Ariece Perkins paced the Tigers with 11 points each.

Grambling State (1-4), which scored just 18 points in the second half, was 14-for-38 from the field. The Bulldogs shot 46.2 percent (12 of 26) from the 3-point line.
