Southeastern Louisiana beats Dillard 99-59
HAMMOND, La. (AP)—Kevyn Green scored a game-high 30 points as Southeastern Louisiana defeated Dillard 99-59 on Saturday.
Chris Cyprian and Patrick Sullivan also scored in double figures for the Lions (2-3) with 16 and 13 points, respectively. Coming off the bench for Southeastern Louisiana was Robert Tibbs, who had 11 rebounds, and Brandon Fortenberry, who posted nine assists.
Southeastern Louisiana dominated the battle of the boards, outrebounding Dillard (2-5) 40-22.
After Joshua Mitchell hit a jumper for Dillard a little over three minutes into the game, the Lions scored 13 unanswered points to blow the game open. Southeastern Louisiana led 56-27 at halftime.
David Manning paced the Blue Devils with 16 points, followed by Bobby Wallace with 15.
