LeDuc scores 23 in Pacific win
RENO, Nev. (AP)—Bryan LeDuc scored 23 points to lead Pacific over Nevada 67-59 on Wednesday.
Terrel Smith added 15 points and Anthony Brown 10 for the Tigers (2-1).
Luke Babbitt scored 19 points and Malik Cooke 13 for the Wolf Pack (2-2).
With Nevada leading 30-27 with 15:07 left in the game, LeDuc sparked a 28-8 run by Pacific. He scored 12 points in the run, capping it with a short jumper that put the Tigers ahead 51-38 with 8:30 left.
The Wolf Pack responded with an 11-4 run to pull to within 6 at 55-49 with 4:50 left, but could get no closer.
The Tigers put the game away with free throws down the stretch.
Pacific limited Nevada to 39.6 percent shooting for the game. The Wolf Pack was 21 of 53 from the field, including 4 of 20 from behind the 3-point line.
LeDuc banked in a 3-pointer to beat the shot clock and give Pacific a 23-22 lead at the half.
