Tulane beats Albany, Ga. 87-59

NEW ORLEANS (AP)—Kris Richard scored 18 points to lead Tulane, and was one of four Green Wave players in double figures in the team’s 87-59 rout of Albany State (Ga.) on Tuesday night.

Robinson Louisme scored 17, Kendall Timmons 13 and Kevin Sims 12 for the Green Wave (3-1). Louisme had a team-high seven rebounds and Sims a game-high eight assists for Tulane, who outrebounded the Golden Rams 41-27 en route to victory.

Scheraun King had 18 points to help lead the Golden Rams (1-1), who shot 37.5 percent (21 of 56) from the field in the loss. Tulane had a 51.7 mark (31 of 60).
