Cleveland State defeats St. Leo 72-62

MIAMI (AP)—J’Nathan Bullock scored 22 points as Cleveland State defeated St. Leo 72-62 on Monday night.

The Vikings (2-2) outrebounded St. Leo (3-1) 43-26 as Bullock and D’Aundray Brown led the way with nine each.

Cleveland State led 33-28 at halftime despite 10 turnovers. The Lions connected on just eight field goals in the first half, with three coming from behind the 3-point arc.

St. Leo improved its shooting in the second half, making 12 of 23, but Bullock scored 16 second-half points to carry the Vikings in the O’Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic.

Jordan Prais led the Lions with 19 points, followed by 11 from Kyle Rowland.

Quentin Cullop had seven of the Lions’ 15 turnovers, to go with just six assists.
