St. Francis pulls away in OT, beats Bucknell 69-59
LORETTO, Pa. (AP)—Mislav Jukic scored 19 points as St. Francis topped Bucknell 69-59 in overtime on Saturday night.
Jukic had five points and Cale Nelson scored seven of his 14 points in overtime as the Red Flash (1-3) pulled away in the extra period with a 9-0 run.
Bryan Cohen had 22 points and Justin Castleberry had 10 points to lead Bucknell (0-3), which lost in overtime for the second time in four days.
St. Francis took a 42-34 lead on a layup by Jukic with 6:43 left to play. But Bucknell used a 13-4 run over the next six minutes to take a 47-46 lead with 45 seconds to go. The Bison had a chance to win in regulation, but Bryan Cohen could hit only one of two foul shots to tie the score at 48 with 19 seconds left to play.
Devin Sweetney chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds for St. Francis, which hit 19 of 22 free throw shots in overtime.
