Wis.-Milwaukee defeats UC Davis 81-75

AMES, Iowa (AP)—Ricky Franklin had 18 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Wisconsin-Milwaukee past a 24-point deficit for a 81-75 victory over UC Davis on Saturday.

Franklin was joined in double digits by Tone Boyle and Anthony Hill, each with 16, and Tony Meier and Deion James, each with 12, for Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2-0) in the World Vision Classic.

The Panthers trailed 51-27 going into the break and came back and outscore UC Davis (0-2) by 30 points in the second period. The Panther field goal percentage improved from 34.5 percent in the first half to 70.4 percent in the second half.

Ryan Silva came off the bench to lead UC Davis with 17 points. Joe Harden had 11 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Mark Payne and Vince Oliver each had 10 points for the Aggies.
