Pinick has 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead Yale past Princeton

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP)—Travis Pinick had 15 points and 10 rebounds to help Yale beat Princeton 67-59 on Saturday night.

Eric Flato, Caleb Holmes and Nick Holmes each added 11 points for Yale (11-15, 5-7 Ivy).

The Bulldogs led 50-36 with 8:30 left before Princeton (5-21, 2-9) rallied. Jason Briggs’ 3-pointer cut the deficit to 62-59 with 52 seconds left, but Porter Braswell hit a layup to extend the lead to five.

Flato sealed the win by making two free throws with 15 seconds left.

Noah Savage scored 15 points and Nick Lake added 14 for the Tigers, who have lost nine straight games.
