Gibson leads Wofford past The Citadel 91-77

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP)—Drew Gibson had 20 points and 12 assists Saturday to help Wofford beat The Citadel 91-77.

Noah Dahlman added 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Terriers (15-15, 8-12 Southern Conference), who shot 55 percent and took a 39-26 rebounding advantage. Wofford led 43-30 at halftime.

Cameron Wells had 20 points to lead the Bulldogs (6-23, 1-19), while Zach Urbanus added 23.

Wofford led 43-30 at halftime and by as many as 18 points midway through the second half. The Citadel got as close as 10 points before Wofford scored six straight points to take an 80-64 lead with 6:03 to play, essentially ending the contest.
