Dominguez scores 24 in Portland State’s 108-56 win over Montana

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP)—Jeremiah Dominguez scored 24 points, including six 3-pointers, to help lead Portland State to a 108-56 rout of Montana on Saturday night.

Scott Morrison added 17 points, while Deonte Huff finished with 12 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.

Portland State (20-9, 13-2 Big Sky) outrebounded Montana 45-23 and held UM to 33 percent shooting for the game. The Vikings led 57-25 at halftime.

Dominguez scored 19 points in the first half and sat out most of the second period when the game was well in hand.

Andrew Strait led the Grizzlies (14-15, 8-8) with 10 points and Ceylon Elgin-Taylor scored eight.

The Vikings have already locked up the host role for the Big Sky Conference tournament semifinals and championship. They will wrap up the regular season Tuesday at home against Eastern Washington.
