Han leads Fairfield to 83-71 win with 21 points

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP)—Jonathan Han scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half to lead Fairfield to its seventh straight victory, 83-71 over Manhattan on Friday night.

The Stags (14-14, 11-6 Metro Atlantic) finished with four players in double figures. Herbie Allen had 15 points, Anthony Johnson added 15 and Mike Evanovich 11.

The Jaspers led 32-29 at the half and the game stayed closed until Fairfield broke it open with a 10-1 run midway through the second. Greg Nero scored with 9:33 left to give Fairfield a 51-49 lead. Han and Allen hit 3-pointers and Johnson’s jumper capped the run with about 8 minutes to pay.

The Jaspers (11-17, 5-12) turned the ball over three straight times on Fairfield

Devon Austin had 14 points and Darryl Crawford had 11 for Manhattan.
