Bowie scores 17, UCA tops SE Louisiana 63-60
CONWAY, Ark. (AP)—Nate Bowie made up for cold shooting from the field by hitting 9-of-10 free throws Thursday night to lead Central Arkansas to a 63-60 victory over Southeastern Louisiana.
Though Bowie was only 3-10 in his field-goal attempts, two of the shots he made were three pointers and he finished with 17 points.
Southeastern (14-12, 6-7 Southland Conference) made 4-of-7 shots from long distance in the first half and led 30-29 at intermission, but couldn’t make any 3-pointers in the second half. despite four attempts.
UCA (14-14, 4-10) also got 16 points from York Sims and 13 from Brian Marks.
Warrell Spann led Southeastern with 15 points, while Dekyron Nicks added 13.
