BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP)—Thomas Sanders had 19 points and 22 rebounds—his 18th double-double—to lead Gardner-Webb to another lopsided win, 82-55 against South Carolina-Upstate on Saturday night.

Grayson Flittner added 19 points and hit six 3-pointers for the Runnin’ Bulldogs (15-13, 9-5 Atlantic Sun), who have won five straight games—all by double figures.

Aaron Linn scored 13 points, Nate Blank had 11 and Auryn MacMillan finished with 10 for Gardner-Webb, which shot 50 percent and turned 22 turnovers into 26 points.

Flittner has made 15 of 20 3-pointers in his last two games for the Runnin’ Bulldogs, who avenged a 73-59 loss to the Spartans last month in Spartanburg, S.C.

Josh Chavis scored 17 points to lead USC Upstate (7-22, 5-10), which shot just 29 percent in the second half.
