Robinson leads Loyola of Chicago to 71-66 win over William & Mary
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP)—Tracy Robinson scored 20 points, Justin Cerasoli added 18 and Loyola of Chicago outlasted William & Mary 71-66 on Saturday.
J.R. Blount added 16 points for Loyola (11-16).
Danny Sumner had 18 points and nine rebounds for William & Mary (14-13). Peter Stein added 14 points and John Sexton scored 11.
Loyola never trailed, jumping ahead 16-7 seven minutes into the game and 30-21 at halftime.
Robinson’s layup gave Loyola its largest lead, 41-26, with 15:16 remaining in the game. William & Mary outscored Loyola 19-12 over the final 1:31 but came up short.
Loyola made 12-of-23 3-pointers and outrebounded William & Mary 35-34.
