Dartmouth ends 7-game losing streak with 71-52 win over Princeton
HANOVER, N.H. (AP)—DeVon Mosley scored 18 points to help Dartmouth end a seven-game losing streak with a 71-52 victory over Princeton on Saturday night.
Alex Barnett added 16 points and Elgin Fitzgerald 10 for the Big Green (9-15, 2-8 Ivy League), who shot 54 percent from the field. Barnett added nine rebounds and five assists as Dartmouth defeated the team that started its losing streak Feb. 1.
Princeton (5-19, 2-7), which still does not have a road win, got 10 points apiece from Marcus Schroeder and Zach Finley.
Leading 33-25 at halftime, Dartmouth went on a 13-1 run at the start of the second half to put the game away. The lead reached 30 before the Tigers ended the game on an 11-0 run.
Dartmouth made 6-of-11 shots from 3-point range, including 4-of-6 by Mosley. Princeton, playing without second-leading scorer Kyle Koncz, hit 35 percent of its shots and only 2-of-11 from 3-point range.
