Adam Gore leads Cornell over Brown, 74-65
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP)—Adam Gore scored 18 points to lead Cornell to a 74-65 win over Brown in Ivy League basketball Saturday night.
Geoff Reeves added 14 points, and Jeff Foote scored 13 points, grabbed eight rebounds and blocked two shots for Cornell (18-5, 10-0).
Reeves made 5-of-5 field goals and scored on 4-of-4 three-point tries.
Cornell shot 43.6 percent overall, scored on 11-of-22 shots from beyond the arc and made 15-of-17 free throws.
Damon Huffman scored a game-high 19 points for Brown (15-9, 7-3), which had four players who scored in the double digits.
Chris Skrelja was the only player in the game with a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Mark McAndrew scored 18 points, while Matt Mullery added 10.
Brown shot 46.3 percent for the game, was 8-of-22 on three-pointers and 19-of-26 from the foul line.
