Stoll’s big second lifts Texas-Pan American over CS Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP)—Paul Stoll scored 15 of his 20 points in the second half to lead Texas-Pan American to a 67-60 victory Friday night over Cal State Bakersfield.
Zach Trader and Emmanuel Jones added 17 points apiece for the Broncs (17-13), who trailed by a point at halftime before Stoll’s charge, and led by as many as 10 in the second half.
Donovan Bragg scored 19 for Cal State Bakersfield (8-19) and Terrence Johns scored 14.
The Broncs shot 46 percent from the field to the Roadrunners’ 40 percent.
Texas-Pan American beat Bakersfield handily, 86-68, 10 days earlier in Edinburg, Texas.
