Loyola gets hot in overtime to beat Siena
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP)—Loyola players hit all but one shot from the floor and were perfect from the foul line in overtime to beat Siena 83-76 on Saturday in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Michael Tuck had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Greyhounds (15-12, 10-5), while Brett Harvey scored 19 points and Brian Rudolph added 15 points and 8 boards.
The teams were tied at the end of the first half 32-32 and at the end of regulation 66-66. But Loyola shot 4-for-5 in the extra period and 8-for-8 from the foul line, while the Saints made only three of 10 baskets and three of four foul shots.
Edwin Ubiles scored career-high 37 points for Siena (16-9, 11-4). Josh Duell had 11 points and Kenny Hasbrouck had 10.
