Rodriguez scores 20 again to lead Campbell past Kennesaw State
BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP)—Jonathan Rodriguez had 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead Campbell past Kennesaw State 75-55 on Thursday night.
Reggie Bishop added 16 points for the Camels (10-12, 5-5 Atlantic Sun), who shot 53 percent and forced 20 turnovers in winning their second straight.
Rodriguez, the A-Sun’s leading scorer at 20.9 points, had his second straight 20-point game; he also scored 20 in a victory last week against North Florida. He is five points shy of the 1,000-point mark for his career and is looking to become the first sophomore in school history to reach that plateau.
Jon-Michael Nickerson had 17 points and Shuan Stegall added 12 to lead Kennesaw State (6-18, 3-7), which shot 36 percent in losing its third straight.
Preston Dodson scored 14 points and Jake Wohlfeil had 11 for the Camels.
