William & Mary rolls past Hofstra, 74-62
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP)—Nathan Mann scored 22 points and William & Mary used sharp shooting and defense to roll pass Hofstra 74-62 on Wednesday night.
The Tribe (13-9, 9-3 Colonial Athletic Association) led 36-30 at halftime, scored the first six points after the break and only left Hofstra get within single digits once.
Hofstra (7-15, 4-8) got 22 points from Antoine Agudio and 13 from Charles Jenkins. But the Pride shot just 33 percent and committed 18 turnovers leading to 19 points.
Laimis Kisielius added 13 points and Danny Sumner 12 for William & Mary, which shot nearly 53 percent, making 11 of 23 from 3-point range. The Tribe was outrebounded 43-24.
