PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -Jeremiah Dominguez scored 28 points, 26 of them in the second half, to lead Portland State to a 96-85 win over Montana State Saturday night.

Deonte Huff scored a career high 26 points for the Vikings (13-8, 6-2 Big Sky Conference) and was 17-of-17 from the free throw line. Scott Morrison added 17 points and seven rebounds.

Carlos Taylor led Montana State (13-9, 5-4) with 31 points. Casey Durham chipped in 14 points for the Bobcats.

After trailing 46-44 at halftime, Portland State ramped up its offense behind Dominguez, who scored 11 points in the first four minutes as Portland State went on a 15-6 run and opened a 59-52 advantage with 16:25 left.

The Vikings held MSU to just three field goals in the first eight minutes of the second half. Meanwhile, the Vikings went on a 10-0 run that was capped by a Huff layup that made the score 69-55 with 12:21 remaining. Montana State never challenged the rest of the way.
