Lee’s double double leads St. Bonaventure over Duquesen
OLEAN, N.Y. (AP)—Michael Lee scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds to lead St. Bonaventure to a 74-59 win against Duquesne and to its first win this season in Atlantic 10 play.
Tyler Benson scored a season-high 15 points for the Bonnies (7-14, 1-6). Matt Morgan added 13 points and Zarryon Fereti and Tyler Relph had 11 and 10 points, respectively.
For the Dukes (13-7, 3-4), Gary Tucker scored 13 points and Aaron Jackson added 11 points and had seven rebounds. Shawn James had nine points.
Trailing by one point with 16:22 to play, the Bonnies went on a 12-0 run to take a 49-38 lead with 13:15 to play. The Dukes did not come closer than seven points for the rest of the game.
The Bonnies outscored the Dukes 46-28 in the second half.
