CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.—Gerald Robinson had 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead Tennessee-Martin to a 90-71 win against Southeast Missouri Saturday.
Southeast Missouri got to within 47-43 early in the second half, but Tennessee-Martin (11-14, 7-8 Ohio Valley) went on a 16-4 run to build a 68-49 advantage with 13 minutes left and the Skyhawks dominated for the rest of the game.
Marquis Weddle scored 22 points for Martin. Lester Hudson, the nation’s third leading scorer at 26.9 points per game, scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Benzor Simmons scored 10.
Will Bogan led Southeast Missouri (12-12, 7-6) with 18 points, while Jaycen Herring scored 12 and Roderick Pearson added 10 for the Redhawks, who have lost six of seven after starting the conference schedule at 6-0.
Tennessee-Martin made 11-of-25 3-pointers, including 4-of-6 for Robinson, and outrebounded Southeast Missouri 54-39.
