Prestley’s 17 points, 11 boards lead Grambling to win over UAPB
PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP)—Andrew Prestley scored 17 points and added 11 rebounds to lead Grambling State to a 63-51 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday.
It was just the third win this season for the Tigers, who trailed 27-26 at the half. Duran Diaz also added 17 points for Grambling, and Anthony Williams came in off the bench to contribute 11.
The Tigers (3-12, 3-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference) shot 47 percent, compared with Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s 34 percent.
The Golden Lions (9-10, 5-3) were led by Larry Williams’ 17 points and Marcelle Goins’ 12 points. Jarvis Gunter added eight points and nine rebounds for the Golden Lions.
