Mann leads William & Mary to 70-67 victory over James Madison
HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP)—Nathan Mann scored 19 points and David Schneider had 13 to lead William & Mary to a 70-67 win over James Madison on Wednesday.
James Madison (10-10, 3-7 Colonial Athletic Association) led 26-24 at the half, but Chris Darnell hit three free throws with 13:00 on the clock to put the Tribe (11-9, 7-3) ahead for good.
Danny Sumner added 12 points and six rebounds for the Tribe.
Abdulai Jalloh had 19 points and seven rebounds, Juwann James had 15 points and seven rebounds and Pierre Curtis had 14 points for the Dukes.
William & Mary outshot James Madison 49 percent to 45 percent, but the Dukes outrebounded the Tribe 30-28.
