Roberts scores 18 points in Dayton’s rout of Saint Louis
DAYTON, Ohio (AP)—Brian Roberts scored 18 points to lead Dayton to a 63-36 win over Saint Louis on Wednesday night, snapping the Flyers’ three-gaming losing streak.
Dayton used a 10-0 run midway through the first half to build a 19-14 lead that they did not surrender.
Andres Sandoval scored 15 points and London Warren added 11 for the Flyers (15-4, 3-3 Atlantic 10), who played without injured forwards Charles Little and Chris Wright.
Little broke a bone in his right foot against Massachusetts on Jan. 16. Little continues to recover from ankle surgery.
Tommie Liddell III led the Billikens (11-9, 2-4) with 10 points.
The Billikens shot just 37 percent from the floor—the fourth game this year that they have scored 40 points or less.
