Curry gets 34 points in Davidson’s 78-65 victory over Wofford
DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP)—Stephen Curry scored 34 points to lead Davidson to a 78-65 victory over Wofford on Wednesday night, giving the Wildcats their 10th straight win.
Thomas Sander got 11 points for Davidson (14-6, 12-0 Southern Conference), while Boris Meno came off the bench to score another 11.
Drew Gibson and Junior Salters led Wofford (12-9, 5-6) with 14 points each. Tyler Whatley scored 11 points for the Terriers, whose four-game win streak ended.
Wofford led 35-34 at halftime.
With the game tied at 37-37, the Wildcats went on a 20-7 streak to take a 57-44 with 11:03 left in the game. Curry scored 10 of those points.
