McKenzie pushes Tennessee Tech to 93-76 win over SE Missouri
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Amadi McKenzie hit 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Tennessee Tech to a 93-76 victory over Southeast Missouri on Saturday.
Daniel Northern added 11 points and 11 rebounds in a balanced attack for Tennessee Tech (9-11, Ohio Valley 6-4), who had five players with double-digit scoring.
The Golden Eagles led at halftime 34-46 and outrebounded Southeast Missouri (11-9, 6-4) 51-38. Tennessee Tech improved shooting to 16-of-31 after the break and never fell below a double-digit lead in the second.
Jaycen Herring scored 17 point and Roderick Pearson added 14 for Southeast Missouri, which fell for the fourth straight game.
Anthony Fisher scored 21 points, and Frank Davis and Rashaud Nixon added 14 each for Tennessee Tech.
