Hasbrouck’s 17 points lead Siena in 69-56 win over Manhattan
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP)—Kenny Hasbrouck had 17 points and Alex Franklin had 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead Siena to a 69-56 win over Manhattan in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Thursday night.
The Saints (11-6, 6-1 MAAC) led by 15 points at halftime, 31-16, and led by double figures for the final 29 minutes.
Edwin Ubiles had 14 points, six rebounds and four blocks for Siena, which forced 16 first-half turnovers and held Manhattan without a field goal for nearly seven minutes, pushing a four-point lead to 16 with just over two minutes to go.
Franklin, who had missed five games with a back injury, came off the bench to score 10 points and grab eight rebounds before the break.
Reserve Darryl Crawford had 16 points and made 7-of-8 field goals for the Jaspers (8-9, 2-5).
Siena held Manhattan to just 36 percent from the field for the game.
