Thomas scores 16 to lead Murray State past Indiana-South Bend
MURRAY, Ky. (AP)—Danero Thomas scored 16 points as Murray State beat Indiana-South Bend 80-62 on Tuesday night.
Thomas also had nine rebounds for the Racers (9-7). Tyler Holloway was perfect from the floor, going 4-for-4 on 3-pointers, and scored 14 points, while Bruce Carter added 13 points.
Qadr Owens scored 20 points for the Titans (13-8). Dewey Brown added 13 points, and Tyler Leighton had 11, hitting three 3-pointers.
Murray State opened the game with a 20-7 run, and the Titans didn’t get any closer than nine the rest of the way.
The Racers led by as much as 45-22 after a 19-5 run to finish the first half.
