UALR tops Louisiana-Lafayette 74-63 behind Moore’s 22 points
LITTLE ROCK (AP)—Steven Moore scored a career-high 22 points to lead Arkansas-Little Rock to a 74-63 win Thursday night over Louisiana-Lafayette.
The Trojans (11-4, 3-1) trailed by 11 points during the first half, but erased that margin with a 13-0 run and never trailed again. UALR led 33-31 at the half.
The Ragin’ Cajuns (7-8, 4-1) were held to 37 percent shooting in the second half as the Trojans broke the visitors’ four-game win streak.
The Trojans forced ULL into 21 turnovers and outscored the Ragin’ Cajuns 23-11 at the foul line.
Mike Smith scored 11 points for UALR, and Terrance Akins added 10.
Chris Gradnigo and LaRyan Gary topped ULL’s scoring with 11 points each, while Elijah Millsap scored 10.
