Dunn scores 27 as Baylor beats Brown, 72-62

WACO, Texas (AP)—LaceDarius Dunn scored a career-high 27 points and led Baylor past Brown, 72-62, on Tuesday night.

Kevin Rogers had 14 and Aaron Bruce scored 11 for Baylor (12-2).

Mark McAndrew had 22 points for Brown (8-6) while Peter Sullivan scored 11 and Damon Huffman had 10.

Baylor held a 46-40 lead with 12:07 remaining before Rogers scored eight points in an 11-1 run that resulted in a 57-41 Baylor advantage with 7:49 left.

Baylor was up 69-55 before McAndrew and Adrian Williams hit back-to-back 3-pointers to pull Brown to within eight, 69-61, with 1:35 to play.

Dunn then answered with his seventh 3-point basket of the game to put it out of reach.

Baylor led 34-25 at the half.
