Pacific leads all the way to beat Cal State Bakersfield 67-58

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP)—Steffan Johnson had 17 points and five assists as Pacific beat Cal State Bakersfield 67-58 on Saturday night.

Anthony Brown scored 12 and Michael Nunnally added 11 for Pacific (10-4).

The Tigers never trailed, scoring the final eight points of the first half including a pair of 3-pointers from Johnson for a 36-24 halftime lead.

The Roadrunners (3-12) would get no closer than six in the second half.

Terrance Johns led all scorers with 22 points for Bakersfield and Trent Blakely scored 11.
