ALBANY, N.Y. (AP)—Siena College guard Tay Fisher had a career-high 23 points and added four steals, four rebounds and three assists in an 89-54 victory over Dartmouth College in men’s basketball action Monday in Albany.
The Saints (7-4) held a 45-26 lead at the end of the first half. Forward Edwin Ubiles finished with 13 points and has reached double figures in all 11 games this season. Freshman Clarence Jackson posted his second straight double-digit outing with 12 points.
Dartmouth (5-7) made just one of 13 3-point attempts, a late Elgin Fitzgerald try that banked in. Forward Johnathan Ball led the Big Green with 15 points while Alex Barnett and Marlon Sanders added 12 points each.
Siena freshman forward Ryan Rossiter had 10 rebounds in his first start of the season and may keep the starting spot after Alex Franklin returns from injury, coach Fran McCaffrey said.
Classmate Steven Priestley scored five points and had three rebounds, playing the final 11 minutes in his most extended action of the season. Chris De La Rosa had four points, four assists and two of the Saints’ 14 steals.
Siena faces Memphis at the Fed Ex forum on Thursday.
