LAFAYETTE, La. (AP)—Courtney Wallace scored 13 points and Travis Bureau, 12, to lead Louisiana-Lafayette over Florida Atlantic, 71-52, Saturday.
Louisiana-Lafayette (5-7) held a 46-23 edge at halftime, and was outscored, by four points, in the second half.
Florida Atlantic, whose largest lead of the game came early, at 7-4, hit just over one-third of its shots from the field in the first half. The team (4-9) shot 40.5 percent from the field for the game, and was led in scoring by Carlos Monroe, who had 15. Sean Alarcon added 13.
Florida Atlantic put up 29 points in the second half, compared with Louisiana-Lafayette’s 25.
